I'm PJ! After professional stylists rescued me from my own hair situations, I knew this was a world I wanted to be part of. There's something magical about that transformation moment when someone looks in the mirror they feel amazing.

When you walk through our doors, here's my promise: you'll be treated with genuine respect and warmth. I believe every person deserves that, no matter their background. I'm constantly inspired by watching our incredible stylists and educators work their magic with guests. Their professionalism and perfect timing with literally everything is what I aspire to do. That’s what makes my day–getting to appreciate each new face that comes in and seeing magic happen in the chair.

My life philosophy is pretty simple: "It could always be worse. Take the wins where you can get ’em." Even on the toughest days, this reminder helps me find the silver lining and stay positive for our guests and team. Life seems pretty good when you know it could always be worse.

Outside the salon, I've got a weekly reset day that keeps me sane -sometimes it's quality time with my cat, sometimes it's heading outdoors with a good book or crafting project. My Spotify collection is 4,626 songs strong and growing daily. I love music and will listen to just about everything! I am always open to recommendations.

Born in Montgomery, Alabama, living in Nashville, Tennessee for some time, then Rockville, Maryland, I've finally found my place in North Carolina. I'm now diving into all things hair at Aveda Chapel Hill while greeting all our wonderful guests here at Menagerie. Can't wait to welcome you to Menagerie and be part of making your day amazing!
