I'm Meg! I found my passion for hair in the most unexpected moments--playing with friends’ hair during school hours, which, let’s just say, wasn’t exactly teacher-approved. College didn’t spark joy for me, but the vibrant world of hairstyling? It felt like coming home. Born under the sunny skies of Orange County, CA, I traded the West Coast for the charm of North Carolina at the ripe age of six. I’ve claimed this beautiful state as my own ever since.

Fast forward 6 and a half years, with scissors in hand and an Aveda Institute of Chapel Hill diploma on the wall, I’ve been living my dream one hair transformation at a time. There’s this unforgettable moment that sums up why I do what I do: making a client cry tears of joy. She was battling health issues that took a toll on her hair, and helping her see her beauty and strength, despite the changes, was nothing short of magical.

Blondes and balayage are my favorites, I love to play with natural hues while keeping things effortlessly chic. Growth, learning, and an insatiable curiosity drive me--not just in perfecting my craft, but in every aspect of life. It’s about embracing the messy, the beautiful, and everything in between with my clients, sharing stories that go beyond the chair. Hair care, to me, is a vital form of self-expression and confidence. And whether it’s customizing each service or remembering the small details like a client’s drink preference, it’s all about making that personal connection.

When I’m not wielding a hairdryer or paintbrush, you can find me jamming to Taylor Swift (a Swiftie through and through), diving into a good book, or exploring Raleigh’s hidden gems with my husband and sweet one year old, Ford. He’s truly the best baby ever, but hey, I may be a little biased!
