I’m Maggie, a proud Raleigh native and part of your friendly Concierge team and Associate at Menagerie Style House! My journey to this salon wasn’t exactly a straight path, and I think that’s what makes it special.

When I went to college, I didn’t know who I wanted to be. At 21, I still didn’t know. It wasn’t until I was 24 that I finally figured it out - and that’s okay. I’ve learned that everyone’s timeline is different, and there’s beauty in the journey of self-discovery. Looking back at myself three years ago, struggling with who I wanted to become, and comparing that to where I am now - knowing this is where I’m meant to be - pushes me to be better every day.

I’ve always been drawn to the beauty world. Before I even started beauty school, I taught myself how to wax, do nails, and master certain hair techniques. What I love most about this industry is that it’s filled with people from different places, all lifting each other up and supporting one another. When I discovered Menagerie, I knew instantly this was the place where I wanted to grow my career.

I’ve been fortunate to travel to many different parts of the world, and each destination has shaped how I think about beauty. Every culture has its own unique definition of what beauty means, and that global perspective influences how I approach my role here. These days, thanks to my fiancé, I’m also getting into cowgirl boots and all things country - a style that I think fits perfectly with certain vibes at Menagerie!

My guiding philosophy is simple: everything happens for a reason. I truly believe this is why I am where I am today, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Finding balance in a demanding role comes down to prioritizing self-care. I love doing my nails because it forces me to slow down and have that time just for myself. Outside of work, my passions include travel, photography, and going out for drinks with friends. You’ll also find me catching up on shows or enjoying a good meal with my fiancé.

On my days off, I’m usually running errands, cleaning (yes, really!), and spending quality time with my fiancé and friends. My favorite foods? I can never choose between sushi and pizza!
