Hey there, it’s Jebe!  Originally hailing from the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas, but now making magic happen in North Carolina since 2009. I’ve been doing hair since 2004, a journey that has been nothing short of exhilarating.

My journey into hairstyling was sparked by the delightful chaos of growing up with three sisters, where doing each other’s hair became a special bonding time. This early exposure made me realize the transformative power of a great hairstyle--something that extends far beyond just looking good.

One of the most profound experiences in my career involved a guest navigating through a challenging time during the pandemic. I coached her on at-home coloring, and when she was diagnosed with cancer, I was there to help shave her head, choose wigs, and offer unwavering support. It reinforced the idea that what we do as stylists goes beyond hair; it’s about creating a safe space and being there for our guests in every way.

Cutting hair is my true passion, and I absolutely love the artistry involved in transforming a canvas. Short cuts, especially pixie cuts, are my forte. If I specialize in anything, it’s teaching my guests how to maintain healthy hair. I firmly believe that achieving a great look shouldn’t come at the expense of hair health. Behind the chair, my guiding values are rooted in the simple yet powerful principle that everyone wants to be heard and valued. Establishing trust is key, and I find that making a person feel heard leads to that trust. When faced with a complex hair challenge, I break it down into small, manageable steps, ensuring a realistic and beautiful end result. Patience and attention to detail are my allies in achieving those hair goals.

The most valuable lesson I’ve learned in my career is that anything is possible with hard work and patience. Never stop learning, and you’ll continue to grow. For me, hair care is a powerful tool for building confidence and expressing one’s true self. Seeing a guest radiate confidence after a transformative session is incredibly rewarding. I customize my services by being a good listener and avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach. Each guest is unique, and my goal is to give them a look they can easily maintain at home. In my hairstyling arsenal, a great heat protectant and leave-in conditioner, like Aveda’s heat relief spray, are must-haves.

Outside of the salon, my interests span from writing and dance to live music, painting, traveling, and, of course, dogs! My mom has been a significant influence on my personal and professional development, always supporting and encouraging me. Every success I achieve is a tribute to her.And here’s a fun tidbit about me - I’m a fan of alt rock and British rock, and I love watching dance battles. 

Being a hairstylist has allowed me to push my boundaries, stepping outside my comfort zone and growing both personally and professionally. It’s a journey filled with achievements that build confidence with every step. Let’s create some magic together!
